Activity 8

Immortal
This game was really short, but the author really managed to cram a lot of emotion into a small flash game. The story basically revolved around a creature that begins the game being taken care of by some people. A war breaks out, and he now has to protect them from harm. He is substantially tougher than them, but he ends up dying and being buried by snow.

Company of Myself
Company of Myself is a very interesting game, with a creative mechanic that makes gameplay really fun. The narrative is pretty interesting, and enhances the experience if you choose to read it, but it’s also nice because it’s optional in case you just want to focus on the gameplay.

Moving Stories
This game was super weird. The items you chose to pack change what happens the next time through, so it makes your minimal choice of what to pack mean a whole lot more than it would seem to.

The Majesty of Color
This game was interesting. It reminded me of the Stanley Parable, in which there are a bunch of different endings you can get depending on your choices in the game. In this way it was pretty cool, and I think it could be fun it it was fleshed out, because all of the “endings” were just a black Game Over screen, not too much changed.
